Practice: Eye Contact

Practice Eye Contact

When it comes to cheerleading, the old proverb “the eyes are the window to the soul” is particularly true. This shows confidence. If the crowd can’t hear the cheerleaders, they have no reason to follow. The same goes for eye contact. Look at everyone in the crowd. Not just a small group of people such as a group of friends. Making eye contact with the fans is crucial to creating a memorable connection with them!

P.S. If you can't make eye contact, look right on top of their head, so it seems as if you're looking at them directly.
