Cheerleading Attendance

Cheerleading is a team sport and commitment is an important key!
Attendance at practices and games is mandatory.

If a cheerleader cannot attend a practice or game, she must notify the head coach in advance and provide the coach with the reason for the absence.

Practices/games will be excused for medical or dental appointments (with a note), illness, death in the family, and academic/religious events in which the cheerleader is a participant. Unexcused practices shall be determined at the coach’s discretion.

Failure to adhere to the team’s attendance policy will result in asking to sit out during the following game. Three unexcused practices may result in asking to leave the team.

If you have an injury, you must still attend all the scheduled practices, games, and events. This will not be considered an unexcused absence.
